Lamb Meat Balls



  • 500g Lamb Mince Meat
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Onion diced
  • 2 Chillies minced
  • 1 Tin Tomatoes
  • 1tsp curry powder
  • 1tsp Garam masala
    1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup coriander
  • 2 tblsp oil


Step 1

Combine all ingredients together in a basin except tin tomatoe.

Step 2

Make small ball shape and bake in oven 180 degrees for twenty minutes.

Step 3

In a stockpot add 2 tblsp oil and fry 1 diced onion to soft light brown.

Step 4

Add garlic /chilli paste stir than add garam masala and curry powder and stir, now add baked mince balls and stir and add salt and last add tin tomatoes, stirring occasionally add 1 cup water and simmer for 20 minutes .

Step 5

After twenty minutes stir and sprinkle coriander.

Step 6

The sauce should be thickening as in picture. Serve with rice or roti.

Step 7

Note: divide spice ingredients for two portions. One for mince meat and other for final cooking Tin Tomatoes.

Step 8

Tips: Always wash baked balls after baking. That will clean all skimmed particles. Also can add 1 tblsp sugar to the sauce to its final cooking.
