Masala Lamb Curry



300g lamb meat cut in pieces
1 onion diced
3 cloves garlic minced
1/2 teaspoon ginger mince
1 red chilli
1 teaspoon garam masala
2 teaspoon curry powder masala
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoon oil
1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
Pinch of cumin seed
Pinch of meethi (fenugreek) seed
3 whole cardamon
2  Cups warm water
chopped coriander


Step 1

Heat oil in a pan

Step 2

Add cumin ,methi and whole cardamon, add onion and fry till soft

Step 3

Add garlic, ginger and chilli paste and stir

Step 4

Add curry powder and stir

Step 5

Add meat and salt and stir

Step 6

add garam masala stir again

Step 7

Add 2 cups warm water and cook on medium to low heat for 20 minutes

Step 8

When it’s cooked with little thick left , garnish with coriander . You can add more water if meat is still hard
