Indo Fijian Roti



3 cups plain flour
1 tablespoon oil
1 & 1/2 cups warm water


Step 1

In a basin add flour and oil

Step 2

Rub oil gently

Step 3

Add little water a time and combine into soft dough

Step 4

Add few drops for oil and Knead dough for 3 minutes

Step 5

Rest the dough for 10 minutes

Step 6

Pinch in to small balls And roll in round shape

Step 7

Cook on hot plate

Step 8

Place the roti on hot plate for 1 minute

Step 9

Flip and cook by turning occasionally just one side

Step 10

Turn over and the roti should puff up . Once puff up. Take off from hot plate. It’s called dry roti

Step 11

For ghee roti Roll out the small ball dough and spread ghee

Step 12

Fold it in square and roll in square shape

Step 13

Place it on hot plate

Step 14

After I minute flip

Step 15

Spread ghee and flip again

Step 16

When making ghee roti you need to flip few times And cook to golden brown.
