Prawn curry in coconut milk



15 pieces of large king Prawn
1/2 onion diced
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon ginger paste
1 teaspoon curry powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
2 ripe tomato diced
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoon oil
1/2 cup coriander
1 teaspoon tomato paste
1 cup warm water
1 red chilli diced
1/2 cup coconut milk


Step 1

Heat oil add cumin and onion stir and fry for seconds

Step 2

Add garlic, ginger and chilli stir

Step 3

Add curry powder stir and add prawns

Step 4

Add cumin, salt and diced tomato and coriander and stir and cook for 2 minutes to get tomato soft

Step 5

Add tomato paste and water and further cook to thicken the sauce

Step 6

Add coconut milk stir well and cook for 2 minutes

Step 7

Off the heat and rest for a bit

Step 8

Serve with rice or roti.
