Lamb Lasagna



12 lasagna sheets ( ready made)
1 kg lamb mince
1 onion diced
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon ginger paste
2 red chillies minced
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoon oil
2 tablespoon tomato paste
1 tin crushed tomato or fresh 6 ripe tomatoes
1/2 cup chopped coriander
1/2 cup chopped spring onion ( optional)
1/2 water

White sauce
1 litre full cream milk
1 diced onion
5 cloves
3 bay leafs
2 tablespoon oil
50g butter
1/2 cup flour
125 g Parmesan cheese
1 cup grated pizza cheese


Step 1

Heat the pan add oil

Step 2

Add mince and brown it

Step 3

Add onion, garlic , ginger and chilli stir

Step 4

Add cumin , salt and tomatoes stir

Step 5

Add tomato paste and water and cook until water dry up

Step 6

Add coriander stir set aside .

Step 7

For sauce Heat a pan

Step 8

Add oil Fry onion , cloves and bay leaf

Step 9

Add milk stir nicely but do not boil the milk

Step 10

Strain the milk in a dish keep aside

Step 11

In a hot pot add butter add flour and fry until butter is nicely coated into flour

Step 12

Quickly add strain milk and whisk

Step 13

Keep whisking by adding Parmesan cheese to form a thick white sauce, take off the heat

Step 14

Now in a rectangle dish layer the lasagna sheet as your first layer

Step 15

Spread the cooked mince ( not all )

Step 16

Pour the white sauce ( again not all)

Step 17

Layer the lasagne sheet

Step 18

Add mince

Step 19

Pour white sauce

Step 20

Layer the lasagne

Step 21

Add all mince

Step 22

Pour all white sauce

Step 23

On top sprinkle grated cheese

Step 24

Baked for 20 minutes until it’s brown on top.
