Chicken Curry

Ingredients

  • 1 Whole chicken or 500g chicken leg fillet.
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1 red chilli
  • 2 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoon oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin see
  • 3 whole cardamon
  • 3 cloves
  • 1/2 chopped coriander

Method

Step 1

Cut meat to small pieces, wash and set aside.

Step 2

In pan, heat oil, add cumin, cloves and cardamon, add onion and fry to slightly brown then add garlic , ginger and chilli paste ,sauté for a while , add masala and add chicken , salt and stir .

Step 3

Stir for few seconds and add 1 1/2 cup water, simmer and cook for 15 minutes or until the sauce thickens. Garnish with coriander.

Step 4

Note: Make warm roti and enjoy. It can be eaten with rice as well.
